What Home Means To Me

What does Home mean to you? Home to me is a bright place where you start a new journey everyday. Home is your safe zone where you can be yourself and feel loved and special. People may think a home is a four walled building with no meaning but Home does mean a lot, Home isn’t a place. Home is a feeling. Home to me is that one place where you feel loved and safe, where you can be yourself and feel good about being yourself. Every room in a house has a story worth telling which makes the house a home. A home isn’t a four walled building, it's worth a lot more than that! Home is a place made with love and joy. It's where I wake up every morning and smell my mother cooking breakfast. Home is where I laugh at my sister’s jokes whenever she tells me one, Home is where my brother is always checking up on me and home is where my dad is there to spend the night with me watching scary movies. Then when my cousins come over, It feels like home. When I wear my pajamas all day it feels like home and that list can go on forever. Home isn’t about all the stuff you have or how much money you make, It’s about the love, the joy, and your family.
