What Home Means to Me
The things that home means to me are family, being safe, encouragement, and much more. I'm thankful for all these things.
What home means to me is family. Family is always there when you need them like when you need help skating, or when you need help working on a project. Family makes a home a home. There are also lots you can do with them like playing board games with them or sledding. My house is on a hill so I can go sledding with them. Some people don't have a family so I'm thankful I do.
Another thing that makes a home a home is being safe. A home is safe with walls, A roof, windows, and a door. The feeling of home should make you feel safe. It's safe for you to eat in, sleep in, play in, and live in. A home is made for people to live in and feel safe.
Home also means encouragement and unconditional love. They encourage you when you need it with love. They encourage by helping or cheering. Encouragement means to say, "Good job! You can do it!" But not saying it, by showing it. My family encourages me a lot and loves me a lot. When you love someone you encourage them to be their best.
And that's what makes my home a home. I'm thankful I have a home. With family, safety, and encouragement.
