What Home Means to Me

To me, home means a place where you make good memories. I think good memories are made by watching movies, playing games and cooking together with your family. I hope other people will do these things and make more great memories. When I have bad days I go and think of the special memories and that makes me feel better. Every Friday night we get very comfortable pajamas on. We have a TV room upstairs. Before we watch our movie we pop popcorn in the popcorn maker. At all the houses I lived in they all had movie night. Afterward, we would laugh and talk about the movie. Even though I have had many houses, these memories are special. Once a week we usually make some goodies like - cookies, biscuits, fudge, and peanut butter balls. Personally, my favorite is biscuits. My mom and I make a lot of chocolate chip cookies. I love licking the beaters. My favorite memory is when we would have a warm cookie in our mouths and we would talk about how fun cooking the cookies was. I have cooked at some of my houses but not all. My home now has yummy desserts. Once a week we play a game. My favorite is Horse-Opoly. With Horse-Opoly you can buy and sell different types of beautiful horses. We have horses at my house so I love horses. When we play games it feels like a home because we laugh and giggle. I decided to write about good memories because it makes me feel wonderful when I look back and remember the great times. Some houses don't have good memories. Don’t worry about the bad memories, look at the good things. Try these things like watching an awesome movie, playing a fun game, or cooking some yummy treats. Maybe these will give you good things to remember.
