Home

For me home is not just a house, it’s not just a place where you can go. Home is where my family is, it’s where memories are made. Home is where I feel safe because of the warmth of my home and the care of my family. Home is found in my Dad, Mom, sister and my cats. When I'm with my parents I can feel calm because I can help my Mom cook and watch a movie with my Dad. I can cuddle with my cats on the couch while reading a book. Me and my sibling may fight at times but they understand me the most. For me home is family. Home is also about memories and experiences like when you take a long trip with your family to go camping or when you visit somewhere new. When I make memories walking in the park or when my family visits it feels like home. I know that I am privileged. My home is warm, my fridge is full and I have my own room. This is more than enough. I’m lucky to have no war near. I'm lucky to be able to visit my far away family. For me having a home is a privilege. So many people are born unlucky , for example their family could be struggling to pay bills or buy food. Everyone deserves a chance to have a home.
