Home
To me, home is not just walls, windows and a welcome mat. For me, it is more than that. It is family, feeling safe, and love. Also, home is a happy place with pets, like my cats Coby, Stubs, and my dog Bobbi.
Now, why is a house not a home? A house is a building, and it is made up of four walls, a ceiling, a door and windows. To me, that does not sound like a place I want to spend my time in. It sounds empty, boring and uninviting. What’s missing? Love, warmth, happiness, family members and pets who are always happy to see you! That is what home feels like to me.
I have a large family. My home is always loud and busy, which some people might not like. For us, there is no other way to live! As much as we would like to keep it a relaxed space, it never is. That is what makes it such a fun place to be! With so many family members, there is always something happening, and you are never alone. There is always someone there when you need them. Even though it might be difficult sometimes, it is always loving.
That is what home means to me. It might be different for some people, but as long as I have my family, I know it will all be okay!
