What Is Home? Home is family, home is love, home is happiness, but home isn’t just that. It's also sadness, madness, and even painful moments. So really, what is home? It's where you feel like you have roots, “roots of memories''. The roots signal you belong, signal that it's your home. But what you call home isn’t what others call home. They dont have roots in your home, they don’t belong to your home. What Does My Home Feel Like..? When I'm at home, I see my two brothers come running at me to greet me. I can smell my mom’s delicious food, like roasted chicken and freshly cooked rice. I can even smell the scent the soap bar gives. I can hear the television on. The screams of victory in cricket games, the voice of fear in the news when they talk about fires destroying homes. I feel bad, but it helps me realize I'm lucky to have such a loving home. My home is the safest place. I feel comfortable and safe, so I don't feel cold, and I don't feel lonely either. At home I can learn and play, just like at school. I can learn about religious stories, and I can play with my brothers. At home I can enjoy relaxing and not worry about what I'm wearing, even if my clothes have holes. A home is a place where you belong. My home is where I belong.
