What is Home?

What is a home? Is it a place with walls and a roof, where you stay awake at night worrying over money and decisions, or a place where you can have comfort, and be held tight and hugged gently until you feel at ease, a place where your worries drift away as your family is in harmony with each other. A home is full of love, not cracked walls and shattered patience. A place where you can run away from troubles and be welcomed by open arms. A home is a special warm feeling that everyone deserves, not just some people. A sturdy roof to protect me from snow, rain or hail, so I can focus on enjoying the things I love. Mellow evenings with soft pouring rain with my family beside me, echoing giggles throughout a room with a soft glow from candles while a hurricane takes place. These are all home to me. I hope for everyone to be able to feel like this. whether it's in a small cottage, or a large mansion. A home is not just a place, it's a feeling.
