The Meaning of Home Short Poem

Home is where I eat, where I sleep, where I dream Where I laugh and where I play, Where my family lives day after day Is is where I build "forts" with blankets and pillows Where I play with my brother and we pretend we're heroes. Where I make cakes while my family makes steaks; Where I learn to become a better person for the world's sake Where mom reminds me to be kind and dad tells me I should be ready to shine It's where I'm reminded to never give up no matter how hard it is, I will always bounce back up. It's where simple things make me happy From watching movies with my family or simply spending time with my brother, mom and daddy Wherever I go in my life it will not change, the feeling of home is always the same We cry, we laugh, but home is where my family is, where my heart rests I love my home.
