The meaning of home
The meaning of home can mean many things for different people. like for some it can mean feeling loved and happy, for others it can mean sadness, abuse and much more. The real reason of *the meaning of home* means a lot of different things for different people. For me the meaning of home means safety, sports and memories.
For most people safety means a roof over their head and food/water some believe its a safe space to be in and just feeling safe in general. For me safety means most of the basic’s like a roof over my head and food/water but
I also like things that make me feel safe like a dog. I love dogs, some do not but I do it makes me feel safer in an already safe place. I also like having a blanket with me not at all times but just around my house because I have a blanket with a hole in it so you can go in it and I liked it a lot. I also like my own place in the house because it is my own space that is for me and I like having that space for myself.
Most people do not consider sports with the meaning of home but I do because for me, family/friends are very important but most of my family loves sports and my friends like sports too. When I was very young when my dad taught me how to skate I was 3 years old and I found it very fun and when I got 2 years older I asked my dad to register me for hockey. And my dad did sign me up because he wanted me to at least try the sport. To this day I still play hockey because when I started I saw so many people who loved to play and I made some new friends. Also when I was young I did not think that people would ever hit anyone in the sport but you can probably tell I was wrong but I still really liked it otherwise.
Mostly everyone that thinks about the meaning of home thinks about memories and some do not but I do. When I think of home I think of memories like when I was 4 I remember my birthday because it was a very nice day. We all played outside because my birthday is in the summer. I also remember it because that is when I got my first big kid bike. It had no training wheels but when we were outside I practiced a lot and at supper time for us was 4:00 I learned how to ride a bike that day I was in a good mood. Also I remember when my sister and my cousins went down to my nanny and papa’s house. We go every year once or twice but that time I was 6. We went to the beach and had a very good time. We went for 1-2 nights at a time mostly 2 nights tho, one time me and my sister went for a week but my cousins did not.
In conclusion, the meaning of home means many different things for different people and to never assume what happens at people's homes. My three ideas for the meaning of home are, safety, sports, and memories. For example, some of the stuff I said for safety is a roof over my head and a blanket and a dog. What does the meaning of home mean to you?
