Why is Home Special to Me?

To me, home is special because it is a place where I feel safe to be me. A place where I feel safe to laugh, cry, or sing without judgement. A place where there will always be a place for me. A place where I will always be and feel loved. My home is special to me because of all the memories in it. I have vivid memories of birthdays, Christmases, and finding chocolate-filled eggs on Easter. Memories of playing in the yard, and making a big slip and slide down the hill. My favourite memories are the ones where we decorate the Christmas tree as a family while we watch the Grinch. I love my home, and it will always be special to me. I hope that everyone will get a home that’s special to them. I can’t imagine losing my home and all the memories I have with it. Home is special because it's where I am loved.
