A House VS A Home?

Hello, my name is Cohen. There are many differences between a HOUSE and a HOME. What is a HOUSE vs a HOME? What makes a HOUSE a HOME? What is a safe and affordable home? How do we find a safe and affordable home? What things can you find in my home? Let's get started on my feelings about houses and homes. Let’s begin with the differences you will find in a house vs a house. In a house you have walls, a roof, a bed, kitchen, and bathroom. But in a home, you’ll find love and character, you may see a ‘live, love, laugh’ sign displayed and a crowd full of family, friends, and people who mean the most in your life. A house is just an embodless soul without a group of people living in it. But a home, well my home, is filled with heart, soul, and most importantly love. The house is a structure and shelter, but people you spend time with and the love you share is what makes a house, a home. How do we find an affordable and safe home? Everyone wants a safe, warm house to make a home for their family, but sometimes that is not possible depending on many reasons. Usually, the reason is because of the high cost of having a home and a family may not be able to afford one. It is important to have an affordable home for your family because you will need money for other important things, not just your house. You need to be able to pay for your house but still be able to buy essentials like groceries, heat and light, furniture, and appliances. If your home was damaged by a storm, you need money to fix it. Unfortunately, some people are homeless because they do not have enough money to be able to have a house and the other things you need. If you are homeless, you most likely do not have a place to keep you safe and warm, and if you do it may often be a different place each day. It is hard to be healthy when you don’t have a safe home. You could feel very insecure because you don't have a home and this can be very hard on your mental health. I am lucky to have a home that has everything I need always provided to me and my sister. We live with our mom and dad. Most importantly we will always have love, respect, and a safe place to rest. I wish that every place in the world was given the love that we get in my home. We always have healthy food and water. A lot of families do not have food and water unfortunately. We will always be safe in my home. If you need a safe home, you can contact Habitat for Humanity, and they can help give you a safe home in a nice environment with lots of nice people. You can also contact Habitat for Humanity if your home was destroyed, and they will try and help you and your family. In conclusion, my hope is that everyone can find a safe and loving home for their family and people they care about. A big part of being healthy and happy is having a safe place to call home. A big thank you to Habitat for Humanity for helping a lot of people by making sure they find a safe and affordable home.
