What Home Means to Me

What is home? It’s not just a place you run away from. Or a box that you get kicked out of when you turn 18. It’s a place where you hold all your memories from your childhood. Home is a place where you have fun and eat all your meals. It is like a 5 star hotel but you live there forever. Home is when you are welcome to stay for as long as you want. Sometimes you lay in bed at home dreaming about you laying in bed at home. You always have a home whether you live in an orphanage or in a dumpster. When you’re homeless, your home is the streets. Not only do humans have a home but animals also do. Ants live in tunnels, monkeys live in jungles, and whales live in oceans. Home is a safe place where you can hide from the kidnappers that were chasing you. If you don’t take care of your home, soon, the streets will be your home. When you grow up, you will have to buy your own home. Unless you choose your mom’s basement. Home is where you feel you belong. You can boss guests around all you want since it’s your home. Home is where you keep the people you kidnapped locked in your basement. It’s also where you stay forever during quarantine. Sometimes, someone robs your home because you didn’t install traps at the front door. We all know that you left the stove on and burned down your entire house. We also know that you left the lights on in your room during that 2-week trip. In conclusion, Home is where you can do anything you want and not feel embarrassed.
