What does home mean to me?

What home means to me …. Home means you feel trust, you feel safe, and you feel loved. Sometimes we feel sad so then we calm down. When I feel sad I go eat a snack. Home means you have great parents, they buy us food, when we are sick they buy us medicine. When we are good they buy us a toy. No matter where we live our parents care for us and do anything for us. When you’re at home you can be yourself even though you’re 14, 11, or 7 you can play with toys and you can make crafts and nobody can make fun of you. When I am home I go into my colorful room and I can read, dance, or do anything that I want to do. When I am at school and it’s the end of the day I can’t wait to go home. When I get home I relax and home makes me feel good. Home makes me feel creative. In my room there’s so many colors. Like purple, red, blue and white. On my table I have a drawer and in that drawer there’s so many colors, neon colors and pastel colors. I do so many crafts for my family. When I am at home I feel super creative. And home makes me feel like a kid. I can go play with my friends when I am bored. I can play board games with my dad and mom. I can watch movies and just be a kid. We can feel a bunch of emotions, we can be sad, angry, but it’s normal. And that’s what home means to me. Capri Dhanani.
