A Place To Call Home

Home is not living in fear. Home is not going to bed hungry. Home is not always feeling cold. Home is not when you have no one to love or no one to love you. Home is not always just a shelter, it's a feeling in your heart of belonging. It's a feeling of hope and happiness with the ones you love. Home is full of joy, happiness and blue skies. Home is a place filled with wonderful memories like taking your first steps or learning how to ride a bike. Home is a place where you feel warm and cozy. Home is peaceful and calm, but other times it’s like an amusement park. Home is where you can relax, spread joy and it's where you can be yourself. I love my home just the way it is. It’s not too big and not too small, it’s perfect to me. As long as I have my family, that’s what truly matters. Home is home and no one can change it. Home is happiness without a doubt. My hope is for no one to live in fear. My hope is for no one to go to bed hungry. My hope is for no one to feel cold. My hope is for everyone to feel loved. I believe that if we all show a little compassion, everyone can feel like they have a place to call home.
