My Home

I live in a home, not a house, a home. A home that is very strong to hold in all the love that comes by. A home that can show happiness, even though it's a stormy day. A home brings back memories, like when I learned how to ride my bike or when I got to watch the house being built. I am so lucky to have a roof above me, so I wish that the love that I have is shared with everyone. Home doesn't care if we're not in a good mood, it will always know that family is home and home is family. Home stays forever, home sits right beside me all the time. Home will talk to your brain, to stay happy. Home celebrates all the fun holidays with me. Home is part of my family. My home won't judge me, my family won't judge me, neither will my cat or fish. Home is like a magic portal. Right when someone walks through the door, the portal leads you to happiness, courage, memories, honesty, respect, integrity, family, friends and love. This is what home means to me.
