Meaning of Home
What does home mean to me? You may ask.
It's where every dinner is eaten, it’s where we say our first words, it’s where we create our memories, it's where we grow up.
A home is where a house gets fulfilled, fulfilled with a family, or one inhabitant.
Fulfilled with not just furniture, but people and memories.
The home raises everybody in the house, as everything changes in the home.
As everybody in their homes, their houses are their habitat, that's the habitat for Humanity.
Houses are constructed to create homes, homes create a larger habitat for people.
Over time the house ages, so with its people, over time the people leave, and another group of people re-inhabit and repeat the same process.
Home is where I walk my first steps, and eventually it’s where I say my last words, It’s
Where I get ready for school, and where I go home after school. It’s where I talk to my
Friends online, and it’s where I spend time with my family.
It’s where I feel a sense of belonging and bliss. That feeling where I eat cereal in the morning, and the sun rays casting over the window, makes me feel safe and carefree.
That feeling where you are in your bed, ready to go to bed, makes me feel like I will have a good rest and have that feeling of being excited about what the future holds for you, your family, your home and everything.
That is what home truly means to me.
