What does home mean to me?

When you ask me what home means to me it means that you feel comfortable, loved, welcomed, and respected. Your home is where memories are stored. Home is also where you feel safe. When I think about the word home and house, they have many differences between them. Home is where laughter and joy begin! Home is filled with kindness and people. A house is a structure that is made from wood, bricks, and windows. On the inside, you see the furniture. A house is a place where you have shelter. A home is a place where your family or you will risk a life to save another. A house is a place where you can work solo but a home is a place where you can work together. A home is a place where you can be yourself and can make a mess! A home is made up of people with hearts to make it feel like home. My home is where everyone is welcomed. Don't hate your home because you don’t have expensive stuff because not everyone has a home. Be grateful you have a HOME. Thank the Habitat for Humanity for doing this fundraiser and I hope that all this money the Habitat for Humanity raised can help people who don't have a home. I hope that they will get a loving and lovely home to shelter in!
