The Meaning of Home

There are different meanings for “home” like, “It's a place with no privacy!” or “It's just a weird building.” but that doesn’t apply to me. My home is a place where I can rest and feel safe, it’s a place where I can just be myself! When I’m in my home I feel like I’m free from all the judgements and the hating, I feel like I’m in my own little space where I can sing as loud as I can, be goofy and do what I truly want. My home is where my family is, my home is where I grew up! Sure, maybe I don’t stay there forever, but wherever I go, wherever my family, wherever I feel safe and can be myself is where my home is. I feel so sorry for all the people out there who don’t have a place to call home, or shelter to feel safe so I hope this essay helps all of the people out there young and old. Habitat for Humanity I’m inspired by your actions and hope this goes on for many more years. Thank you for everything you are doing for this world!
