Our home
I know this grey world
Had been twisted and twirled
By politicians, big and small
Using manipulation for the long haul
Waging wars of wealth
Power, pistols, and death
Pollution and pretty much trash
Piling up in just a flash
Cement covering habitats
Overhunting and getting trophies? congrats…
But there is chance,
Even if there is none at first glance
There is kindness in the human kind
Helping the deaf, sick and blind
We can also switch out colour palette
Grey to green, try to make a habit
to be eco-friendly
So many windmills like it’s an assembly
Combatting all the wrongs
Our voices will be loud as gongs
While trying to do what is right
We can try not to fight
