Home To Me

Home to me is with my dog, Her name is Hazel the small fluffy dog. She is small but resilient She makes everyone more efficient What I mean by more efficient is that she makes everyone work and clean, So that she doesn't eat a shoe or a bottle of “Mr. Clean” There are our up and downs about cleaning the house For example every time time we lay our shoes down or leave out our blouse. We will find the the remains scattered around the yard, We always have to keep watch so that our shoes don't go missing, sometimes it feels like we need a guard But I don't mind that she steals our stuff As long as she's healthy and goes “ruff ruff” She takes our stuff and and calls it her own but that's okay because she’s home. My dog came to me during January She didn't look too ordinary. For a beagle, her face was not stereotypical The breeder said she wasn't typical, When she came into our place She turned her house into a home with grace. I am thankful for my puppy And that I am lucky. Not only do I have a dog, but also a house To go with the clothes and blouse That I wear everyday. I wish that everyone had a home But we all can help by writing a story or a poem The money that's donated can be helpful And I hope that everyone gets a home, as that is very eventful. Thank you, by Reece
