What Home Means to Me

When you look at my house you can tell there are kids, We have a hockey net out front you may even see our treehouse in the back or a camper in the driveway, My house is sky-blue, just like when you look up at the sky on a clear summer day, We have a bright red door that loves to welcome friends and family in and others too, We have nice Neighbors, they're a circus of fun and always ready to play, We love to have campfires in the summer and even winter with our neighbors, Pass the marshmallow screams of happiness, scaring all the night animals in darkness, You might even see your boat that we will fish with in the summer, Best of all is sitting on the swings out front, Swinging Away the hours, we love to eat freezies and laugh together, When you walk in my door it would normally be quiet But you might hear my brothers digging in the buckets of Lego, or Someone knocking on the door, maybe the TV will be playing in the background, or someone cooking in the kitchen, You might hear my cat meowing in the background, Or the shower upstairs you might hear my fish tank’s Filter bubbling, You might smell my cat's litter box or fresh cookies in the kitchen, or the washer detergent, You might smell perfume, You might taste cookies or pasta, Maybe you'll have some Annie’s for lunch, we love stir-fry for dinner, I also love the hot chocolate my dad makes After Sledding on a cold winter day, I feel the Soft blankets and my cat, or the Cold air conditioning, Home is something we all deserve and I love mine.
