How Important is Home to Me?
Many people believe that a house is only a structure, but this is not true. Home is where we make memories and laugh over the years. It may have had its ups and downs, however it is still a home. We will love one another even if we are upset, and the best part is that no matter what happens, we are still a family.
My house is where I learned to play, walk, and talk, and where I have made lifelong memories. Our events are held at our house. The memories of our family's on holiday will last forever. At home, I am welcomed and respected by everyone and when I'm at home I feel safe and relaxed every morning.
When I return home from school, my family greets me, and my dog gives me kisses. These memories will never fade away, no matter how old I get or how far I move away from home.
That's what home is to me.
