What Home Means to Me
My home looks like it is a gaming nook,
Mario Kart with my dad and Just Dance with siblings,
My home looks like a family of work and spending money,
Hard work and spending money in our family means love,
My home looks like a forest, trees everywhere, moss on the house, and leaves on the ground.
My home sounds like a daycare, sometimes when my mom is babysitting, I hear crying, gagging, and snoring,
My home sounds like popits, and fidget toys,
My home sounds like mechanic, cars revving, brakes creaking, and
bike bells ringing.
My home smells like fresh jollof rice with stew,
My home smells like nail polish and the smell of nail dust when
you file your nails,
My home smells like the crispy smell of fresh books,
My home smells like fresh hashbrowns from the air fryer,
My home smells like the fresh scent of the
outdoors following me in,
My home smells like joy.
My home tastes like fresh cinnamon rolls,
My home tastes like gourmet tacos, and pasta,
My home tastes like Subway for lunch, and McDonalds for dinner,
My home tastes like agege bread and Vita Malt,
My home tastes like African food and also food from around the world,
My home tastes sweet.
My home feels like crazy home but loving at the same time,
My home feels like a concert because we play a lot of music,
My home feels like my comfy couch in the living room and books in the study room,
My home feels like a place that I can express myself and many ways,
My home feels like home welcome to me my family and other people.
Home is a place that follows you.
