The Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home At home I play with my friends. I play video games and spend time with my family. Home is where I sleep, eat, play and feel safe and loved and where I know I am welcomed. Home Is where I am happy, where I laugh and where I feel like I belong. My home is where all of my good memories are from. Home isn’t just where I sleep or live, home is more than that. Home is with my family. Home is with my pets. Home is with my friends. At Home I have a cat named Fatcat. Her real name was Waffles but she was a little over weight, so we called her Fatcat. I also have two dogs named Missy and Murphy. In my backyard I have seven chickens, they are very good to have because they give us eggs. At home we sometimes have movie nights and have bonfires with my friends and family. We do a lot of fun things together at home. This is the meaning of home to me. I hope by writing this story it will help someone who doesn’t have a home a get one. I hope they feel loved and cozy in their new home, just like me. BY Rylan MacKinnon.
