What Home Means to Me

Home means you are safe because you have your family with you. You can play board games, spend time with family, and you can laugh together. I care for my home because I'm lucky to have a home and I feel bad for the people that have to stay outside in the cold. This is the reason that I'm writing this poem so I can give the money to make a home for someone and help them out. In my home I can smell candles burning in the living room because there is stinky soccer equipment and basketball equipment. I love my room because my bed is comfortable and cozy. I love my room because I can have fun by playing with my toys and stuffed animals. At home I can play with my brother in my bedroom. At home I sometimes go to my backyard and make an igloo because it’s like a home. It’s so big I can lay down in it or sit inside of it. When I'm done playing in my little home I go inside my house. I go get a cup with hot chocolate and have a nice time in my home. I love to go to my game room so I can watch the new episode of the Simpsons which kind of reminds me of home because there is a family and a house. My favorite part about my home is my closet because all my board games are in there to have fun with. I wish for everyone to have a home like me because it gives shelter. So They can keep warm and so the family is safe. What home means to me is I am safe with my guardian or parent at home. Why I say I'm safe because I trust my family because they care for me.
