What makes a home

To me home is a place of many things. Home is someplace with lots of warmth and support from family. In some homes you might have siblings and your siblings will make you laugh sometimes. Many homes have laughter and kindness, especially with their guests. To me what really makes a home is memories of everything that has happened at your home like playing with siblings. A home is where you should feel like you belong and most importantly you should feel loved. It is also a place where you should feel safe with your family. You can also eat and have drinks at home if you are ever hungry or thirsty. In some homes like mine you may have pets and for some people pets make a home very welcoming. Here are a few more things that might make a home. Most homes and my home, what makes it a home is having siblings to play with and so you do not get bored or lonely. In every home there will be a bed where you sleep and where you might have sleepovers with your friends. Homes usually have a roof to keep you protected from rain, lightning, snow, or hail. They usually have furniture to sit on or sleep on. Homes might have old keep sakes of older generations like from your great grandparents. Some homes might have movie nights. You might have family gatherings at your home. Home is also a place where you grew up and learned to walk. To me at your home I think you should probably have stability for it to be your home. There are many things that make a home to me, but some people do not have homes, but we can try to give them one.
