What does home mean to me?
Home to me means a place where I can be safe and think about things. Where I can think about my loved ones and talk to people about my feelings. Home is a place where I can think about everything and hang out with friends and family and play hockey with my family and friends and learn new things.
I can play with my dog and make new things or take apart things and learn how to make things and how to pull something with a four wheeler. I can help people with things like a place to rest and sleep, watch videos about things I need to work on , making things look cooler than they really are, and spend time with people. I can meet other people and learn from other people by signing up for your favorite sport online.
A safe place to cry and not get made fun of for anything, a place to talk to people without having to be scared that will make fun of you or get in fights. A place where you can talk to anyone about anything. It is a place where you can hug your friends and loved ones. It is a place to feel comfortable.
It is a place that everyone should have. Only 1 in 8 households do not have a safe decent or affordable place to call home. Some families have to decide between paying rent and paying for other necessities things like food, childcare and heating. Home is full of amazing people that care for each other. Home is a place not to get hurt.
