A Home So Called Paradise
Paradise is where I feel at home,
Paradise is where I feel like I belong,
I wish everyone could come,
But we only like some,
My papa passed away and made my mom a map,
The trailer is where I wear my favourite ball cap,
It took my dad day and night to find that special spot,
I love to go fishing that’s where I was taught,
You can even cook on a cast iron pot,
My dad is now in the lake,
Happy memories in my heart,
Every year is where I have my birthday cake,
Paradise is where I met my friends,
As our friendship could never bring to an end,
And it’s not where we pretend,
Maybe I sound sappy,
But pulling out the trailer makes me happy,
We always stay until the fall,
Where nobody can make a call.
