A home isn’t a place of arguments and yelling A home isn’t a place of fear A home is not a place to hide If you live in a place like this, whatever that is it isn’t a home A home is a place to be who you are A place to do what you do best A home is a place of art and crafts A home is a place where you learn your first step A home is a place where special memories are made A home is a place where special people are contained A home is a place to have fun and laugh A home is a place to read and write A home is a place to eat and drink A home is a place to study and learn A home is a place to socialize and mobilize But lots of people don’t have this Lots of people stay out in the cold Some in places that smell of mold I am grateful for my home And you should be too
