The Meaning of Home Did you know that 1 in 8 Canadian households don't have a decent, safe, affordable place to live and they cannot afford basic necessities because they have to pay for a place to live (habitat for humanity 2022.) To me home means being with your family, pets and making special memories. To me, being together with your family is the most important part of home because a house is not a home without family and a house is just a structure and family is what makes it a home. You can make special memories with your family in your home and be all together and everyone can feel loved. Home means spending time with your pet because they can make you feel loved when you are sad and they are always there for you. They are a part of your family and they can be very special to you and that can make a house a home because pets can bring joy to people and that is a happy time in your home which makes it special. A home is also made of memories, happy or sad they are still a special part of your home. tems in your home can also have special memories attached to them like maybe a certain bowl you used to make cookies with your family because that could have a happy memory attached to it. You can make special memories with the people that are in your home like when you played a board game with special people. It can be a happy memory with those people in your home. Home can mean a bunch of different things, but to me home means being with your family. Being with your pets and making special memories with the people you love.
