Home
The word home to me means safety, love, and being yourself. I can be whoever I want to be when I am home and there is no judgment. When I am with my family, I feel like together we turn our house into a home. Home isn’t a place or a building it's more of a feeling where you are comfortable to be yourself and not afraid to speak your mind. In my house sometimes I feel bored, but my family makes me feel like there is more than life than just technology like playing in the backyard with your siblings or just running around by yourself. Your home brings out all the good things about you, inside and out. Sometimes people of all ages don’t think of a house as a good place but that needs to change because everyone should feel safe in their own home.
You know that saying “when life gives you lemons make lemonade” well it should be different it should say when life gives you lemons give the lemons to someone who needs them so they could make lemonade. In other words when your family gives you everything maybe give something to someone else so they could be happy too. I love how a home is cozy and warm because after a long day at school it’s nice to just relax. Home to me feels cozy, loving, and just home. A home is a place where you go when nobody will take you for who you are. Even if the people in your home aren’t your parents doesn’t mean they don’t love you any less. Some things I like to do in my house are playing games with my family, sitting in my room, or playing with my dogs or cats.
If you live in an apartment or hotel or a house it still counts as home because the structure or the building doesn’t matter the people in the building matter most. What we need to do is make homes special for people that don’t have one because to me home is a very special place. I like it when I am home because it is fun to hang out with my family. People should feel the same way that I feel. We need to make a change for the people around us. We should spread awareness for those in need. I hope you can see that we really want to make a difference and consider my letter.
