HOME
One day I came home to a fight,
it doesn't happen everyday but not every night.
When the fight was done we went for a run to cool off.
On our way we heard Habitat say,
“Come, come let’s play”.
Turns out, we were not playing, but we were having fun.
We were helping people, every single one.
We built the house, we did the paint, I felt so good I thought I would faint.
Snow in the winter, leaves in the fall, it really doesn't matter big or small.
We will help as much as we can so you and your family can go play in the sand.
Home is a place where little ones roam, now everybody has a place, just to call home.
Not a peep from the people, it was such a surprise.
I felt so happy just looking at their eyes.
We did our part so now do yours, so we can all help, more and more.
A home is a place safe and sound.
Sometimes they are square,
but sometimes they could be round.
Home is a place where the littles run,
sometimes it’s a little crazy, but they really do have fun.
Stay in your soft and cozy bed, and rest your head.
Just fall asleep and I won’t make a peep.
It might not be big, it might not be small,
but it’s right in the middle,
fit for us all.
Some people don’t have what we have,
so we should be grateful for all that we have.
Home is where you’re happy so you shouldn’t be mad.
Home is where you’re happy so don’t be sad.
Thank you Habitat For Humanity.
Just for all your help and generosity.
