Home
To me home was never just a home, it was a part of me, something that I would never let go. When I think of home I think of family, safety and memories.
Home is family. When I’m with my family there is no other place that I would rather be. In my home, lies my beautiful family, Ethan, Brett, Mommy, Daddy, Lola and Marley. Home is where Lola after school comes barking at me with her tail wagging and our cat Marley is always purring and circling us. Home is when my brothers Ethan and Brett knock at my door asking me if I want to play mini sticks or play with them. Home is when my parents bring me to my hockey game and me knowing that they are there to support me. Home is family.
Home is memories, the big and the small ones. Home is going to Florida and visiting my grandma and my grandpa, playing fun board games and riding the golf carts. Home is going to my cousins house and riding on their boat and going tubing and skiing. Home is memories.
Home is safety. When I’m home snuggled up with my family I feel safe because we're together. I’m so thankful that we live in a safe place that I can be myself and go to an amazing school. When I'm with my friends I know that I’m safe because I know that I can trust them. Home is safety.
I’m so thankful that I have a home to live in but some people don't. That is why you have to help Habitat For Humanity build homes for people that can’t afford rent and the homes will be at low rent to help them get on their feet.
