The Meaning Of Home
Hello, My name is Addie. I am 10 years old and go to Williamsburg public school. I am in class 5/6 B. To start, I'd like to tell you that my parents, Elyse and Adam Whitehead, are very nice and enjoy company (Well, at least I think they do!). What bothers me most at home would be my sister complaining, or cleaning my room, but both of those are off topic. I’m the writer in my family, and I love to make short stories and draw characters. My sister likes watching YouTube, and loves cats. I’m afraid of the dark. I prefer acting with friends than acting alone. My house is a two-story building with three bedrooms. I have heard that Home isn’t a place, but a feeling. And I agree. My sister also agrees, saying she feels safer at Nana's house than at our house. Me? I feel safer at my actual home than at Nana’s, and I also feel safe at Gigi and Geddo’s, (Grandma and Grandpa) where the backyard is a small forest! Me, my sister, and my Aunt Nikki like to go out into the forest and make little camps; Tents out of sticks, beds out of leaves, seats out of– Oh! I’m off topic again! (I think i have a problem with that) Anyways, Home to me feels safer with a lot of books and writing tools. I think i’m done now, hope you enjoyed my writing!
