Home: My Perspective Of It
What homecoming poems these poems will all be,
thanks to Habitat for Humanity.
So that with these poems, we shall unlock a house for someone with a key.
I stay appreciative for a home I rest in, the place where I most invest in, also where I have most progressed in. These walls tell stories of times of triumph and glory. Prestigious place it is no wonder I am writing this poem, it’s obligatory! A house is not a home, it is yet to become one until a family arrives. Various emotions are seen but many smiles. Trials of anger, sadness until reaching happiness. Took hard work, endless mortgage bills to be paid.
