Home
As the old saying goes, “Home is where the heart is” and whoever came up with that, I must commend. To me home is exactly that. Not a work of architecture though it may be, not a pile of stone, brick, or cement though it may be. It is a world of memories that will be kept forever.
When I come home from school I hang up my coat and take off my shoes. I flop on the couch and relax from my day of school with my brother. That to me is what makes home, home because of your family that fills you with joy every single day. Truly home without a family is just a mere building , but when a family lives inside the house it becomes home.
Home is like a shield on a rainy weekend, an escape from the cold, soggy weather outside. Inside your house you’re having fun and you are overwhelmed with feelings of joy and laughter. The feelings of joy and laughter you are experiencing is thanks to your house because it is blocking the rain and blocking out the sadness.
Even if life is hard, and you feel your entire world spiraling out of control, you know that your home and the people in it are going to stand by you through thick and thin. So even if you’ve had a bad day don’t worry, just get home and relax.
Everyone deserves a home, I mean, who wouldn’t want a safe place where you sleep, play, eat, do homework, make memories and so many more things. That is the reason I submitted this piece of writing, so everyone has a place to live as well as spending time with the people you love.
