The Safest Place

I walked into my house with a long sigh of relief. But this is not all of what a home is. A home is a community of wonderful people. It's a space to wind down and feel the change around you. A place to try and try again. Home might not be your house, it might just be a book, a phone, or a room, or an area, or it could be a city filled to the brim with memories of celebration! Home, when people say it they often think of a building but home is a place or thing that makes you bond to the things around it. A house is not the same thing as a home! A home is a place where you can warm up when you're cold, a safe place to be who you want to be. My home isn’t the same as yours but we care just the same. My home smells like peppermint and Christmas all year round. My home is wild like a tiger and free as a bird. My home is unstable but I love it the same! Some day I want everyone to have a place to live, near a community of friendly people, and food to eat. My home has a friendly cat with fluffy fur so I wish for everyone to have a funny pet to keep them company. Hope and warmth for all would be a great thing for the world. I hope that by writing this we can build a house for someone an a home with it.
