My Home

I realize I’m so fortunate to have a home because some people on the streets just roam. Wondering about what life could be if they were at home with their family. Having a home means so much to me, especially when my mom starts her morning with her daily cup of tea. I love when we all watch movies. The other day we watched one about rubies. We wondered and wondered what we need then we got a rescue dog that had been freed. Now he is the highlight of our family And when he barks, we laugh happily. It’s like he has a personality and it looks like he barks at and chases those bunnies rapidly. Of course, he always wants attention He seems to bite himself though did I mention. My dog is always waiting for me It fills my heart with glee. Home is a place where I can relax, put my feet up and chillax. Well, that’s my home! But to my dog it feels like he is stuck in a dome. I love helping Habitat for Humanity, but it’s awesome to help society. Each poem enters 10 dollars. We donate to people that don’t have homes Thank you for listening I hope those new homes are glistening.
