My New Home

Moving is hard but everyone will experience It in their life. It was just an ordinary morning for most people. BUT there was a snowstorm IN THE MIDDLE OF FALL. When my family was moving We had to put all the big furniture In the moving truck And took it to the new house. We had to drive over to the new house And when we got there, it was completely empty. It was as quiet as a mouse. A few moments later the moving truck came And they only brought the main stuff like the Couch, table and chairs. All the plates, bowls and cutlery were in one box. My brother’s stuff was in one box and mine was in another. Then I realized I would miss all the memories that we had in the old house. But on the bright side, I was going to make new memories here. Then I got bored so I went to play in the snow, and I built a snowman. Then I went back inside and there was more furniture. When I went into my room there was a mattress, So, me being me I jumped on it and was fooling around. Then weeks later on the last day we had to move out of the old house, My old room was like when I moved to my new room. It was so empty we had to pack up everything we wanted to take. Once we were done, we had to leave for the final time. When we left, I was sobbing because that would be the last time in that house. It was like a Disney movie that didn’t have a happy ending. Now currently I'm happy with my new house. People ask, “What does home mean to you?” To me home will always be where family is. I'm so grateful to have a place to call home.
