Meaning of Home

A house and a home are two different things. A house is a building that people make with brick and stone. A home is a place where I feel welcome, happy and safe. Home is where my family and my pets greet me. Home is were I can play, eat, sleep and more. At first, I just had a house, but once we made new memories it became a home. A house from the outside can be grey, black, white or brown, maybe with a garage and some windows. On the inside it is a whole lot more. On the inside there is a safe place for my belongings, my family, and my happiness! What makes my home so special is who I share it with, like my brother, my father and my mother. When I invite loved ones and friends over, we have parties, play board games and watch movies together. Where I live makes me feel joyful. This is why my house is a home.
