Home is where the heart is!

Have you ever moved and felt different than in your old home? I have not moved much but I can still get the feeling. That feeling is the opposite of what a home means to me. A home can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. But this paragraph is about what a home means to me. So let's get started! First of all, a home is a place where you can make memories and grow up. By that I mean, when you spend time in your home, and with your family you make memories and learn things. So if you make a mistake your family is always there to help you, even if you get in trouble! You grow up in your home and that's where you make most of your memories because you spend time there. Secondly, it’s a place where you can plant the roots of your life. By that I mean it’s the place that you live in and grow up in. So your school is there, your neighbourhood is there, your friends are there and your family is there! Thirdly, it's a place where you can feel loved and cared for. When you come back home from school, you can see your parents and they love you. Maybe you have a sibling that doesn't talk to you, but you should know that they love you too. You feel much more loved at home than when you go to school. That's because your parents love you the most! Fourthly, your home is a place where you can feel safe and secure. That’s because you have your home and family to protect you from being sick, to shelter you from the cold. It’s true you might feel safe if you go to school or your cousin's house, but it will never be the same as your own home. This is what a home mostly means to me. I hope that you enjoyed my paragraph and now know what a home mostly means to me.
