Meaning of Home

Have you ever thought what life might be like without a home? Home is somewhere you can feel safe, make memories and play. Home is where you are accepted for you. Home is where you can be anything and your family will be proud; where your parents lecture you and where you learn to do chores. It's where you eat, drink and sleep, and you even have shelter. Some people don't have shelter. That's why you should be thankful if you do have a house. Everyone should have a home where they feel safe. Home can be anywhere, but a house needs a foundation. Imagine if you were in the position of always having to move never actually feeling like you have a home. because you always move, and you have to always adjust to whatever place you are in and start over making new friends all the time. That wouldn't feel like a home to me. That’s why each year most classes help to raise money for the people in need through Habitat for Humanity. Habitat reminds me of “Everyone Deserves A Smile” because they are both really concentrated on making people with no homes feel safe. So, if you are going through a lot and reading this, know that you’re appreciated, and that people want to help. And thank you, Habitat for humanity, for making all sorts of people happy. I hope you enjoyed my speech. ? It makes me happy that you care.
