Meaning of Home

Home to me is warm, safe, loud and funny. My home is funny because of the shape of my room. Odd would also describe what my home is like because it is a little different than my friends. My room is a weird rounded shape that looks like a head. My home is made with white wood and I have a nice, good family. My family makes the best Vietnamese food together which is also different from my friends’ homes and families. I like when we share time together and cook traditional meals that remind me of home and family in Vietnam. Most of our food is spicier than the food in North America. Our dishes are lots of noodles, meat and vegetables with lots of spicy, sweet and sour flavors. I feel alone sometimes at home because my mom and dad are immigrants that have to work really hard. I often have to look after my younger brother, so none of my friends can come to me and ask to play. This is why my home is important to me.
