Home

Home to me is not just a place where I wake up, go to school and come home. To me it means things like laughter, kindness, safety, shelter, peace and most importantly love! I think that home should be a welcoming place for people and you should feel warmth, safety and a home full of nothing but kindness and love when you are there. Home to me also means getting to share your feelings and opinions with the people around you. One of the biggest things for me is when I am home I feel safe inside. When I feel safe I start to be happy and that is one of the biggest things for me is being happy. I like to always be in places and be around people that make me feel happy. Home to me also means trust. What I mean by that is being able to trust people with things like your secrets, things you're insecure about and really anything trust is very important you should feel like you can say anything to that person no matter how personal it is you should trust them not to tell anyone. Home is also the place where you lose your first tooth, get your first friend, walk your first steps and most importantly the first period of your life. I think it's important to trust those first people who get to see those first things. For me that's people like my grandma, grandpa, mom, dad and my big brother. These are the people who have been there through the hard times and the good memories. Memories I think your home should be full of good memories and some bad ones too but the people in your home will make you feel better. Those memories may not seem like a big deal but it's always nice to go back and look at all of those memories and feel good about them. Honesty I like my home to be full of honest people. What I mean by that is I want to feel comfortable enough to be honest and I want them to feel comfortable enough to be honest too and not be afraid to be honest. Kindness is really important too because if you feel that you are not being treated kindly then maybe you need to have a talk with the people there because you deserve to be treated kindly. Or if you are not treating your peers kindly you need to try and be very kind too. So overall home means a lot to me but I think that love is the biggest thing. I know my home is full of love. What about yours?
