A home, not a house
A house can never be a home,
A house can be bright, big, extravagant or luxurious,
It can be filled with all you’ve ever desired,
From little gnome’s to your own place dedicated to Rome,
A House might have a roof,
But a home is filled with joy, love and little things saying “Woof”,
Home is a safe place filled with love,
Where you can find your family eating pizza without anymore,
It’s where you go when you’re feeling sore,
Where you close your eyes and snore,
A place where you can express yourself,
Without any doubt,
A house is a building filled with air,
But a home is filled with care,
Habitat for Humanity is always there,
And will help people that can’t go anywhere,
I hope for this poem to be shared,
For those who aren’t aware of this great business,
Caring for the helpless,
Home is filled with people laughing and chatting,
It’s where you’ll find yourself sleeping or eating
A place where you grew up and learned to talk,
Somewhere you were taught to walk,
This amazing company,
Will help those who never got those memories,
And for that Habitat for Humanity,
Will always be a great company!
