What Home Means To Me

When I feel alone I think of home. My home never makes me feel alone because I feel safe and loved by the ones I care about most. My heart is home and I care about everyone in it, even when there's fighting and arguing. I may say I don’t but always will care because the ones I care about most will always be there. My heart is home, wherever that may be. If it's in the north, south or even in the east. When i'm at home I can be myself, without being judged, laughed at and sometimes yelled at. My home always makes me feel loved and cared about at any point in time. No matter how small or how big a home may be, you should always care about it wherever it may be. If it's across town or across the country you should always cherish it just the way it is. I feel sorry for the young and old who can’t afford food, and live out in the cold. I hope by writing this poem it will change someone's life, by giving them a home to live and survive. That they can call home and make memories in, just like I have in mine.
