What Home Means to Me

Have you ever heard of “Home is where the heart is” from Pliny the Elder? It means that all of what you could ever want or need is at home (except for the thing your parents say they have but can never find when you ask them). All my things are right at home. Ready? Sego! At home I have my family. Unlike most people I don't have siblings, even with just my parents it can be fun though. The rest of my family (cousins, aunts etc) live far away, like an entire continent away, half my family lives in Europe! I love my family. My family always comes to annoy me when I'm in my room. My room is a big part of home. My room is a familiar sanctuary to escape my parents, even though I can't lock it. It’s mine and I like that a lot. My room is private (well it’s supposed to be but my parents kind of ruined that by not giving me a lock for my room and never knocking). I love my room. All my stuff is in my room. All my things are at home. My stuff is fun to use no matter what. I use my stuff constantly, I couldn't live without my things. My favorite thing at my house is my computer that I play video games on. I love my stuff. All my life is in my home. My home is where everything that I love is. My family, my room and my stuff are all precious to me. I hope you feel the same way.
