“Home should be an anchor, a port in a storm, a refuge, a happy place in which we dwell, a place where we are loved and we can love” -Marvin J. Ashton. Home is many things for me. It is not just a building, Home is a place where you should feel loved and where you know you belong. For me, my home is a safe place where my family is. It is a place where I know I am loved and where I feel safe. Home is a feeling of security. In my home I am loved because that’s where my family is and when I’m with my family I feel loved. I know I am loved by the way my mom hugs me and kisses. I also feel safe in my home because I am protected by loved ones. I love my home because it is where my family is. Home to me means family. A house is just a building we live in, but a home is when you take a house and fill it with the people you love and where you feel like you belong. In a house you may not feel like you belong, but in a home you will. In a home you’ll feel safe because it’s filled with people who will protect you. It’s a place you know you will be ok because you have loved ones around that you can trust. Home is a safe place with safe people. In conclusion Home is a place where you belong, a place where you can feel safe and loved. Home is a place that I love. Is there a place where you feel like you are home? Where you feel safe, Where you feel loved?
