Anywhere can feel like a home. No matter how big or small. If it’s the place for you, then it’s perfect. Home to me, is more than a place. Home is where you spend time with your loved ones, to make memories that you will cherish forever. For me, home is where I go when I feel sad. Home is where I always feel safe and welcome. Home is where I get to spend time with the people who matter most. Home will always be in my heart. During cold nights, my house makes me feel warm. Home is a place where I feel happy. Where I laugh. Where I play. Where I can be myself. It’s a place for me. Unfortunately though, not everyone has a home. Everyone deserves a place that is personal to them. A place they can call theirs. A place where they can feel safe and welcome. A place where their worries disappear. A place where they can be happy. A place where they can be themselves. We can all make a difference, if we try. We can help those families, without a home, to someday have one that they love. A place to feel joy. A place that makes them warm during the cold. A place to cry.
