What HOME means

To me home means protection, love, and family. Home makes me feel safe because I have family that will protect me and keep me safe. I know my family will always be there for me. I know if I get hurt or I'm scared my parents will love and protect me. And I know that at home I can be myself, I can be free with no rules. When I say I think of family when I think of home, I mean that when I get home either my parents or my grandparents or any of my family members will be right alongside me. I know if I ever need someone they will be there. I think that when some people think of home, they think of a house, but I think of family. That is because some people don’t have a home, or their home is not as happy as others. That might be because some adults aren't as nice as others. I also think of how some people don’t have a home or a house. I think of that because some people don’t get enough money to own a house. To me it doesn’t matter about the size of my house because if I have my family, I am happy. Some people think that the size of the house is the best but that doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you are happy. I think that home is all sorts of stuff, but the main thing is happiness. If you don’t feel happy you should tell someone. My family is always trying to make me feel happy and when I'm happy they try to make me even happier. And when you're happy you're at home. That is why I am always trying to be happy because then I feel at home. I feel happy, safe, loved and I feel happy that I have a great family. I think everyone should feel at home like me because then they will be happy. That is why I want to help habitat for humanity so we can make more houses for people in need. If we build enough houses for people in need maybe there won't be any people living on the streets. Together we can do it!!!!
